While not a speciality of the Center for Healthier Relationships, Individuals, & Sexualities, career counseling can be part of a larger framework of therapy. This can include exploring why one might want to change career paths, work up a corporate latter, or even why one might focus on contentment in their current role. This can be approached through a variety of modalities, which may either focus on the present issues or may review historical data to determine why one feels the need to make a career change.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent over a decade in the corporate world as a human resources executive. This experience has given me a unique understanding of what employers are looking for, and how you can best prepare yourself for the job market. I can also help you identify your personal strengths and interests, if you're trying to decide what direction to go with your career, or if you're considering a career change.
