I offer a unique strategy for therapy that integrates psychological principles with Christian faith and values. Grounded in biblical teachings, in our session, I provide guidance, support, and healing to individuals facing various challenges. By combining belief systems with therapeutic techniques, I aim to promote spiritual growth, emotional well-being, and rational harmony. Whether addressing issues of anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, grief, or loss, I use a holistic approach that seeks to nurture the body, mind, and spirit.

A Biblical base simply means that the therapist believes that all human beings were created in the image of God, intended for relationship and designed with the capacity for growth and change. Forgiveness, personal empowerment, learning to love self and other are critical parts of the process. Jesus said "I came to heal the broken hearted" and at some point, most of us would love to sink into that compassionate offer. To me, the greatest part of being a Christian is being Christ-like, meaning, looking at each and every individual as a worthwhile human being, created for a purpose. When people stop believing in themselves, I like to help them get back on track and feel good about themselves. I’ve successfully worked with disadvantaged kids, the elderly, troubled teens, ashamed individuals, and couples feeling hopeless. I see my clients through the Lord’s eyes, as precious and valuable, and I do my best to help them look at themselves that way. I strongly believe in divine forgiveness and lack of judgment, which allows people in the darkest places to forgive themselves and have hope for a better future.

For those committed to Christ and to Christian living, it's sometimes important to do counselling with someone who shares your values. I have spent my life in the study and teaching of Scriptures, and am aware of the vast variety and riches available to us in our different Christian traditions. I welcome those from any of these traditions. Together we can use counselling insights and approaches, working within the framework of traditional and emerging Christian thought and practice, as we work on understanding and resolving the various issues and concerns you bring into counselling.

Through being grounded in a Biblical worldview, exploring theological perspectives, and seeking wisdom from scripture, I will walk with you to discover spiritual meaning and find strength and comfort in your faith during difficult times. I can also help you find ways to connect with your faith community to support your emotional well- being.
