I am trained in Spiritual Direction as well as Clinical counselling. Conversations about Christianity and the role of God are an important part of my work with clients who are seeking Christian counselling. I welcome your thoughts and issues about how to see the opportunity for growth in faith, or how God maybe found in the process through His Word, or how to develop a deeper relationship with God. I offer non-judgmental counselling with compassion, We can work together through guilt, shame, grief, anxiety, depression, stress, sexuality, spiritual discernment and issues in relationship.

As a Christian I believe that deep inner transformation can occur as I use my counselling skills in partnership with God's healing grace in the lives of my clients. For those who embrace other faiths or no faith position I am careful and sensitive to respect their spiritual choices. For those who desire a Christian perspective on their emotional and spiritual needs I am very comfortable to include this as an integral part of therapy.

I am a licensed practitioner with the Church of Religious Science which is a Christian based, non denominational, church. The foundational doctrines in this church follow the truth of Jesus' teachings. A fundamental teaching of this perspective is that God is love, and as such, Jesus is the representation of God, or love, in human form. We all have the potential to be "Christ conscious" and just as Jesus said, we all are capable of doing even greater works than he (John 14:12). My work as a Christian counsellor is not as adherent to a particular religious dogma as most, but rather broader, less dogmatic, and more firmly seated in the actual teachings of Jesus.

With the fast pace and challenges of life, you do not have to face them alone. Sometimes you need a helping hand and a friendly ear to talk to. It's my passion to help people. I offer counselling and psychotherapy for individuals, couples and families. I work with clients to improve their resiliency, and uncover their strengths using a client centered approach and different modalities to meet needs .

The counselling I do as a christian caring for christian clients includes incorporating a christian-world view. I will go where the client wants to go, whether that means exploring their understanding of God as Creator, Father, Lord and/or Saviour, or their understanding of spiritual practices and how this is improving or impeding their walk, as individuals or as part of community of faith. It might also mean talking about guilt, shame or their ambivalence with today's Church. I love these conversations and understand that we have a huge resources when we consider God's truth in relationships, work or where ever you find yourself stuck.

While most Christian Counselors pride themselves on how many Scriptural passages they can recite and how many links they can make from the Bible to psychological disorders, the Christian-centric work of Grey Matters International, Inc.is grounded in one principle: truth. For us, the work is more about truth and transparency of Christ's message and working on the natural laws of accountability and decision making that evolves from that. If one honors God's natural laws of reaping and sowing around the decisions one makes, one is indeed living Scripture to its fullest. Many years ago while I asked God for a career path, He hired me to work in His counselling profession. I received my integrated training (God's word/Psychology) at Trinity Western University. Since, I have been privileged to work hand-in-hand with God helping people heal their emotional/spiritual wounds, hurtful and often dehydrated relationships. If God hadn't invited me into His counselling profession, I would not be a counsellor today. The best counselling outcomes are accomplished through God's leading, intervention, empowerment and healing. God guides the sessions with His truth, wisdom and love. I love my job.
