I help by looking deeply with them into what brings them joy, what has or hasn't been good about previous workplaces, and also what their values are - in life, in relationships, and in work. These can be very big questions! Often, clients who come to see me about other matters will spend at least a few therapy sessions on career choices and potential future options because it's directly related to how to live a life that's more in keeping with our goals for ourselves and our ethical views. Work can be a primary focus for life, or simply the part of the day set aside to earn income.

I've been in retail sales, and sold photocopies, PR, and software. I've been a teacher of primary/junior students, and professor in sales, and a professor in graduate education.
