I have extensive experience dealing with addictions. I completed my PhD thesis in 1987 researching personality factors associated to drug abuse and alcoholism. Since then, I have developed an interest in different types of addictions (internet, gambling, etc.). Together we will try to understand the underlying reasons of the problem you are dealing with. Will explore how the problem developed, your life style, triggers, emotional vulnerabilities. We will personalize a relapse prevention plan and intervention, work on strategies that make sense for you and can help you get better control of your life. This will require a serious commitment on your part!

Shopping sobriety occurs when you stop accumulating articles to feel better at the moment. Sexual sobriety occurs when you choose to stop using people as desired objects. Gambling sobriety occurs when you bet on yourself. All addictions are examples of the reward system being hijacked. Sobriety often requires support, which means you begin by giving up your secret.
