The initial appointment allows the Psychologist to assess the issues the client is presenting with, determine a diagnosis, and create a plan of care for that individual. Follow-up sessions would be scheduled so that treatment can take place in a timely fashion that allows for consistency and greater and more positive outcomes for the client.
