We work to heal the wounds they are carrying and to begin prioritizing their relationship to build or rebuild their friendship and develop or improve trust. When this happens conflicts and misunderstandings aren't nearly as threatening to that underlying friendship and both people are able to simply be themselves without fancy communication techniques, weird ways of interacting, or feeling like they have to walk on egg shells. I have specialized in couples for over 8 years. I have been trained in multiple forms of couples counseling including the Gottman method.
