Liz has enjoyed 20+ years in education and is well versed in the psychosocial stages of development. She desires that all children enjoy a happy, healthy, and fulfilling life and has worked closely with them (and families) in circumstances where their capacity to thrive has been negatively impacted by internal and/or external experiences. These disruptions can manifest in the form of tantrums, inattention, withdrawal, resistance, aggression, mutism etc. Through a series of engaging and interactive exercises in a safe environment, Liz builds trusting relationships with children and empowers them to confront and overcome their challenges.

It can be difficult looking for a therapist who will work with children. I have been working with children and youth for nearly 20 years. I see school-aged children ages 5 and up. If your child is struggling with anxiety or depression, finding it difficult to manage their emotions, struggling at school, acting out behaviourally, or not getting along with siblings, I can help.
