Psychotherapy is essential to modern life, particularly at times of transition and change, but also when we wish to know more about ourselves and how we operate. For me, psychotherapy – is a process of growth, finding resources and new ways of life. It is means to find hidden capacities and talents of your own, and learn how to live and work with ease and joy. That’s why more and more successful people use psychotherapy today, not because there is “something wrong” but to further their inner and professional growth.

Psychotherapy is the use of psychological methods to help a person change behavior and overcome problems in a positive manner. Its aim is to help people understand the thoughts behind feeling anxious or depressed and addressing these thinking patterns. Psychotherapy will help you change behaviors and habits that are limiting you, to experiencing your fullest potential.

The style of psychotherapy I practice is about seeing and being seen. One of my many jobs is to witness you. This may mean witnessing your pain, or even your achievements, but it also means witnessing the parts of you that you may not be conscious of. It also means helping you encounter and engage the parts of yourself that you have not been able to acknowledge or explore. The goal of this kind of psychotherapy is not only catharsis (emotional relief) but insight, and a great deal of research has shown that the combination of insight and emotional relief is central to lasting change (or what we might call psychological transformation).
