Every couple is different and comes to therapy with a unique story and culture. I strive to meet each couple where they are. Many different situations can lead a couple to seek therapy. My methods depend on the issue at hand. Generally speaking, I strive to help couples increase their understanding of each other, enable effective communication strategies and allow for safe emotional expression.

All of our counsellors have training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy. Couples of any age or orientation are welcome and we will work together with you to address your relationship concerns. Our counsellors can work use an emotion focused or a traditional cognitive-based approach to help you navigate your relationship challenges in a way that is the best fit for you. We work effectively with couples to help strengthen their relationship, gain a deeper understanding of each other’s needs and learn new ways to communicate and resolve conflict.
