Audrey believes deeply in approaching depression holistically. Using a "here and now" disposition, Audrey will focus more on the present as opposed to digging through your past. We will identify patterns in your thinking and actions that do not serve you and help to reframe and restructure the belief system them supports your unhealthy behaviors. This will be paired with consistent check-ins regarding your overall health such as food, sleep, sunlight, work life etc.... to maximize overall joy in your life.

I work with clients experiencing depression by helping them identify negative thought patterns and explore underlying causes. My approach includes cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), EMDR, and interpersonal therapy to promote healthier coping mechanisms and emotional resilience. I support clients in regaining motivation, building hope, and improving their overall well-being. Together, we work toward long-term healing, fostering a renewed sense of purpose and joy in life.

Whether you are in the depths of depression or mildly depressed, I will tune into the underlying causes, help you understand how these are having an impact on you, make a caring connection with you, and you will most likely feel hope. Every person's needs are different, and I therefore work differently with each person. Some people will benefit from medication, but I very rarely insist on that route. I help some by doing walking therapy--get moving, talk while walking. I have helped others get into meditation. I make myself available, and some meet more than once a week, which gives us the opportunity to deepen our work. Being understood and feeling safe here will benefit you.
