When i work with adolescents I offer career counseling to aid in their areas of study. There are various inventories that i can administer which indicate occupations most suited for your child's personality and aptitudes. Some show which professions attract people most like your child. Some show areas of competence in your child that will be valued in certain professions.

I help my clients learn how to manifest their hearts desire through their career. You can learn how to connect to your passions and what brings you joy in life. Once you are aware of your deepest desires then you can make career choices that feel satisfying, meaningful and rewarding. This process starts with learning to feel your feelings and take responsibility for them and then taking loving actions for yourself to find a career that you love.

I can help you articulate your professional goals and chart a course to have a happier and healthier worklife (and work-life balance!). A lot of clients come to me for help with job stress. We'll start with a thorough history of your career--what you studied, what you love to do, what energizes you, and where you want to go. Adolescents is a time to set goals for the future. As a middle and high school counselor, I have taught college and career lessons, led parent informational nights, facilitated family meetings, and provided one-on-one counseling. As your teen's therapist, I will help them to identify their strengths, skills, and interests. From there, we will explore careers and possible majors or paths to that career. Once that is known, we will research the programs or colleges that will get your teen where they want to be. The process can be stressful, but also exciting! I will be there every step of the way. Together, we can help your teen achieve their post-secondary goals!
