I work with men and women who weight cycle from chronic dieting, under eat and binge. I use Health at Every Size (HAES) approach as well as specific interventions to stabilize and normalize clients’ relationship with food and body. The work allows for underlying issues to resolve, leading to lasting change. I specialize in treating eating disorders, including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, chronic dieters, compulsive overeaters, and disordered eaters. I am currently nearing the end of the process to become certified as an eating disorder specialist through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP). I have worked in both inpatient and residential settings. I use elements of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) as well. I also work hard to address issues surrounding body image, self-esteem and self-worth with my clients, as these go hand in hand with ED recovery.
