At Lepage Associates, we recognize there are many contributing factors to depression. In your first session, we gather information about what may have contributed to the depression you are experiencing. For example, you may be involved in a relationship either currently or in the past that has affected your mood, you may have recently experienced a significant loss like a death or loss of a job, or you may be experiencing low self-esteem or other life stressors. Sometimes biology also plays a role and depression is caused by neurochemical imbalance.
