Although grief is a normal part of life, it provides us with challenges that often overwhelm us. I have worked with individuals struggling with grief and loss issues for many years. I have led groups which have grief and loss as their focus. I believe opening up to another person when one is in the midst of grief is the most important step in healing. Then the burden is not so heavy and one does not feel so alone. Grief counselling offers the opportunity for this sharing that can be so helpful when one is struggling with grief and loss.
