I assist my clients to understand how the human psychological system works and, like any system (e.g., electrical, computer), the better people understand it the more often they can use it in there best interest. Most people don't understand how their own psychological system works and that's why the research shows that by midlife (age 46) only 14% of adults experience good mental health. This would not be the case if people understood the way we all work psychologically and this is what I teach my clients.
