In all aspects of life, our career becomes an integral part of our everyday lives and how we move through our life! I often work with clients to help the get a better understanding of their passion in life. When you know and understand your passion, life is just so much nicer! I will coach you along your path and encourage you in a direction you are both happy and confident travelling.

My goal is to develop a therapeutic partnership with clients that builds on a strengths-based relationship, helping to restore the connection between the body and mind in order to have a more balanced life, and strength the tools and skills needed to reach and actualize higher potentionals. I provide a variety of helping services and treatment modalities to help clients move forward in life.

We have several therapists who are Licensed Professional Counselors and trained to work with career issues. We can offer career focused testing as well as counseling. We assist with career development issues as well as interpersonal concerns that may express themselves in a career setting. We also offer personality testing for career appropriateness and placement.

While most career counselors love to give you capacity based profiles of what your talents and interests are for your best bet career choices, Grey Matters international believes that most people make predictably irrational decisions and then after making them learn way to make them fit into their identities using various types of rationalizations and strategies. We are able to assist folks in career counseling type settings by giving a deeper look at their decision making profile so they can better understand where the core frustration or desire is coming from in the world of work. As a former animal control officer and shelter worker, I understand the emotional, mental, and physical toll that working with animals can take. Compassion fatigue is common among shelter staff and volunteers, rescue workers, veterinarians, and others who work in the animal welfare field. Having been on the front lines myself, I can identify with your struggles and can help you learn healthy coping skills and effective self-care strategies to improve your compassion satisfaction and prevent burnout.

Choosing an education and a career to pursue can be a complicated decision and one that you remake multiple times in your life. You should seek to find satisfaction in your work.
