I assist clients in dealing with anxiety and stress by looking at the circumstantial factors which are touching off feelings of anxiety, looking at what can be changed about those circumstances, then identifying what cannot be changed and what underlying beliefs may account for the feelings of anxiety (since it is not events that cause anxiety but the way one is viewing those events) and where those beliefs may have originated. As truth is sought and and one begins to live according to truth, the feelings of anxiety are reduced through letting go of what one cannot control.
