Aristotle famously stated that getting angry was easy, but doing so in the right way, and for the right reasons, and to the right degree was not so easy. To this day, those words are a truth. It is a problem that has yet to be universally solved, but instead, must be done individually, in the course of one's life. However, there are keys and tools and understandings that are universal. Providing these tools is a large part of my work, as I work extensively with men and women struggling with anger problems and domestic violence.

I have worked in the field of Anger Management for at least for 15 years working with couples, individuals, and families. I have worked a lot with the court systems and individuals who are gotten into with the legal system. We dig into what individuals have learned from their families of origin and how we can use new tools to have a better way of dealing with life.

A common misconception is that anger is negative/bad but in reality there is nothing wrong with feeling angry. It is a normal and sometimes necessary emotion. Anger is not the problem, what we do with that anger is the key feature. Out-of-control anger can really hurt yourself and people around you as well as can cause issues in your daily life in school, work and in your personal/professional life.
