By listening to what you say, and what you don't, and asking detailed questions, I will help you in better understanding yourself and reaching your goals.

Psychologists are scientist/practitioners. That means we are aware of the results of research. I have particularly studied research into how people can become happier. I am always studying the latest information on healing trauma and relationship problems. My clients over the years have also taught me a lot. I am a good listener and will commit myself fully to our work together. I will be present with you and bring a wonderful tool box to my work! My greatest satisfaction is to see people becoming more fulfilled, feeling good about their lives, happier!

Psychology is a study people and research on issues. I have spent a big portion of my life listening to people and out of that I have researched, trying to make the information "user friendly". I do not practice from the point of someone else's theory, but from being a student of God's Word and watching the traps the people are often entangled in. Along with reading wise people, I find what works, like an MD would on people's physical issues. So as I continue reseach I am hopefully wiser to help you through your challenges. One of my great joys has been working on the cutting edge of Neuro Science research. A few of the biggest issues that I have worked with are Schizophrenia and PTSD/

When I attempt to be of help to a client I bring to the table all the knowledge and skill I have acquired in earning a Ph.D. in psychology and many hours of additional formal training. However, this is only the beginning. I also bring to the table everything I have learned in many years of relating to people as therapist, friend, family member, group member, and psychotherapy client. What I know about my own humanity is more important that all of my formal training.

Miles Diller is a psychologist with over thirty years of experience with children, adolescents and adults, providing therapy, testing and diagnostic services for ADHD, learning, and other behavioral, emotional and social problems. He is certified in Gestalt, has trained and conducted research in cognitive behavioral therapy, and has experience in acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT); he uses all of these approaches to help alleviate anxiety, depression, stress, and phase of life issues.
