By exploring the client's faith, values, and beliefs, I provide support and guidance rooted in the wisdom of scripture. While most Christian Counselors pride themselves on how many Scriptural passages they can recite and how many links they can make from the Bible to psychological disorders, the Christian-centric work of Grey Matters International, Inc.is grounded in one principle: truth. For us, the work is more about truth and transparency of Christ's message and working on the natural laws of accountability and decision making that evolves from that. If one honors God's natural laws of reaping and sowing around the decisions one makes, one is indeed living Scripture to its fullest. We understand the importance of faith in therapy as people seek improvement, healing and freedom. It is a privilege when invited to engage clients from a Christian worldview. Identifying lies believed from messages given throughout life, and learning the truth of who one is, helps overcome obstacles to life, relationships and view of self. We also desire to help those who have encountered spiritual abuse, that they may find safety and enjoyment again in their relationship with God. We invite people to be real in their struggles, whether they are mad at God, struggle with behaviors that contradict their values/beliefs, or any other dilemma/concern.
