At Oak & Associates, LLC we work as team. Clinicians and administrative staff based at our clinic provide a comprehensive assessment and care that is evidence-based and highly collaborative. The education and empowerment of patients, trainees and colleagues about mood disorders and their management is a high priority of the clinic. We work closely with our clients’ significant others, psychiatrists, primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, and others to ensure that depression and other disorders of mood are understood and addressed in the unique contexts in which they present.

Depression affects many people and often comes with symptoms of hopelessness, loneliness, sadness, loss of interest, and fatigue that overwhelm daily functioning. I work to create an environment where my clients feel supported and safe to work through the issues they are facing. You will benefit from learning about depression and how to overcome it; by gaining a skillset to counter your symptoms. You will also be able to identify your triggers and how to prevent relapse. The ultimate goal is for my clients to be able to leave therapy and be able to reengage in a happy and meaningful life.

The Louisville Seminary Counseling Training Center (LSCTC) is a non-profit, accredited educational site for marriage and family therapists and pastoral counselors. The center provides counseling for individuals, couples, families and children and addresses several issues including anxiety/depression, anger management, marital/relational discord, intimate partner violence, grief/loss, behavioral problems and abuse (physical, emotional and sexual) and several others. Interns in Louisville Seminary’s program serve as the facility’s counselors under clinical supervision.
