Medication treats the symptoms, and can be helpful, but it does not heal anything. I want to work with you to help discover what is the reason you react this way and others don't. We can explore how you learned this, and discover if there is indeed a better coping mechanism available to you.

We often go through our lives in a chronic state of anxiety. Often feeling overwhelmed by not knowing what it is we're even anxious about. I help clients identify the "why" behind their anxiety. Once we identify the why and other emotions present, we can identify what we need. Once we are able to work towards meeting that need, often our anxiety subsides. Learning to relate to our anxiety with compassion, is also a critical step in lowering and regulating symptoms of anxiety.
