As a marriage and family therapist I offer couples counseling for a variety of areas and or for many issues; such as ineffective communication, stressful life transitions, frequent arguing, premarital preparation, parenting, trust, betrayal, and intimacy. Couples benefit from learning about each others specific temperaments, communication styles, love languages, roles, life/relationship expectations, and boundaries. I work with couples to fully understand all aspects of their relationship and each other's needs. Couples will learn healthy coping mechanisms, positive communication skills, conflict resolution skills, emotional insight, and self-reflection; to create a healthier relationship.

Are you feeling lonely in your own marriage? Disrespected? Misunderstood? It doesn’t have to stay this way. Far too often, high-achieving men feel disrespected and lonely within their own marriages. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I help men and their wives to rediscover the incredible value they bring to the marriage, and help them negotiate a hopeful path forward. I will help you identify destructive patterns in your marriage and provide healthier alternatives. I’ll help you improve communication, learn to fight fair, and increase understanding and connection. While it’s not easy work, there is hope. If given the chance, I would be honored to help you fight for your marriage.

Our goal is for you to finish treatment and be able to be your own counselors in the relationship. We will also help you to renew the positive in your relationships. Sometimes in relationships we are so caught up in the mundane activities of life that we forget to have fun together. We know that it is important to focus on "re-romanticizing" your relationship of love, remembering the things that brought you together and resolving the conflicts that divide you.
