For over 25 years I have worked in the specialty of marriage/couple therapy. Affairs do not have to mean the end of a relationship. Unproductive repetitious patterns can be broken. I offer a newly developed service called Discernment Counseling for couples @ crossroads.

The idea that marriage takes a lot of work can be an understatement. Two individual people learn to grow together, adapt, and adjust to life's obstacles. In marriage and family counseling, we sit as an objective facilitator and challenger in strengthening your marriage.

We work with a variety of issues-Depression, Anger, Anxiety (group and individual formats), Bipolar disorder, Trauma, Child and Adolescent work (males and females), Sexual Abuse, Play Therapy, Family therapy, Cultural issues (adapting to the western culture), and LGBTQ.

Dr. Marcelo uses a shor-term, solution focused approach to marital therapy. Couples examine the interactions, communication, and roles that are working and those that are not. As opposed to continuing the "blame game", individuals take responsibility for change.
