These people sometimes do not recognize that they are trying to escape or "self-medicate" from their difficulties or their addiction is a symptom of depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, or ADHD for example. I integrate evidence-based strategies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing to guide clients in understanding their triggers and building healthier coping mechanisms. By fostering self-compassion and resilience, I help clients develop personalized strategies for recovery, strengthen their motivation for change, and rebuild their lives with renewed confidence and hope.

Working in collaboration with other 12-step programs in the community, together we will develop a plan to help you and your family through the difficult decisions and process of change of defining, understanding, and coping with addiction. We also offer toxicology screening, breathalyzer readings, and liaison services for those who are court mandated to treatment.

Substance Addiction creates a lot of drama for people. And it comes with a good amount of denial. So it's critical that I meet my clients where they are.
