As a pastor for over 20 years we have dealt with many who have suffered great loss and experienced the grief that can go along with it. Pat also has experience as a hospital chaplain at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Our process for dealing with grief is to examine the nature of the loss, understand the full implications and help the client to discover means of coping with this loss.

Working through the stages of grief: Anger, Denial, Bargaining, Sadness, and Acceptance can be very helpful. Being able to share your emotions with another person throughout the process can be very healing.
