Although Summer does not provide primary treatment for those struggling with addiction, she does work with families and individuals affected by a family member who is dealing with addiction. Addiction has a devastating impact on families and loved ones, and Summer can help families navigate the difficulty and pain of addiction. I help clients whose lives have been affected by the trauma of addiction. I use non-pathologizing approaches to help clients get to the root of their unwanted addictive behavior. I also help loved-ones who have been caught in a cycle of relational distress with an addicted family member or spouse.
