Not many understand the unique pressures you face, and this can be frustrating, lonely, and isolating. Whether you feel like things are falling apart, or you’re still hiding it pretty well, there is hope. I often use EMDR therapy and a faith-based perspective to help men uncover and heal the source of their issues, and discover their peace, hope, and motivation in life. One of the insidious parts of depression is that while you’re in the fog, it’s hard to be objective. I will help you walk through this fog until we get to the other side.

Clients will deal with the underlying issues and causes for their depression, as they explore their self identity in the way they think, behave, and relate to their world. Contributing factors to clients' depression will be explored from their past and present collectively and clients will be able to identify them and deal with their impact in their lives, as they find the courage to walk through a path of inner healing of their soul (mind, emotions, will) and spirit.

Sometimes we think of depression as being "stuck"or being "at the bottom of a pit." I believe that strategies for avoiding or withdrawing from the dull pain of depression often contain the very hooks that keep the blues rigidly in place. I work with you to explore the situational, contextual, and emotional aspects of your depression and collaborate with you to get unstuck, raise the bottom of the pit to a better place for you, and ban the blues for good.
