Clients will deal with the underlying issues and causes for their depression, as they explore their self identity in the way they think, behave, and relate to their world. Contributing factors to clients' depression will be explored from their past and present collectively and clients will be able to identify them and deal with their impact in their lives, as they find the courage to walk through a path of inner healing of their soul (mind, emotions, will) and spirit.

We help our client to overcome or manage depression symptoms through holding safe space for them to work through difficult emotions and experiences in a supportive environment. Depression can be caused by many different factors and can be temporary or chronic. Processing traumatic experiences and gaining perspective into what is contributing to your symptoms can shed light on how to lessen the severity and have more good days than bad. I utilize relational approach in working with clients with issues of depression. Client explore the meanings of depression in terms of physiological, psychological, or relationships connectivity. Clients examine steps that have worked in managing symptoms, or not worked. Through the process of therapy, clients become aware of skills to manage and optimize functioning; thereby reinforcing that depression is the problem and they are not the problem. As such, they explore and implement healthy life choices in controlling the symptoms with medication management, social engagements, exercising, relaxation, prioritizing, time management, and identify a safe person to help reflect arising needs.
