As marriage and family Therapist, I have specialized training to work with couples. I assist couples in more than communication. I help them build connection, which is the glue of a relationship. All relationships can get into a negative pattern, but without a secure bond the relationship can spin out of control. I assist couples in learning about each partners attachment style and help the couple build healthy problem solving skills through bonding. I offer premarital counseling with an online assessment. Past hurts and misunderstanding are explored during therapy. Role play is also effective in couples gaining understanding.

We are passionate about and skilled with helping couples to repair and strengthen their relationship by utilizing techniques from evidence-based practices such as Emotionally-Focused Couples Therapy and the Gottman Method. These techniques help get to the heart of the matter to increase relationship satisfaction and heal emotional injuries that may have occurred throughout the relationship or as a result of previous trauma. Individual therapy for each partner is also recommended as best practice for helping each person to work through their personal traumas.

Couples work is unique and interesting.
