The focus of my work is supporting teens and couples in making positive changes toward greater life balance, resilience, and acceptance, while exploring meaning and purpose, in order to live authentically. I have supported teens, adults, and couples facing issues ofgrief, depression, anxiety, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs), anger management, caregiver fatigue, codependency, relationship conflict and/or betrayal, and life transitions. I provide meaning-centered therapy for teens and adults using supportive and evidence-based treatments. As your counselor, I will provide you the safe space to explore your values, grief, and feelings , while receiving nonjudgmental support.

Understanding how you view the world can carry immense benefits. With a Master’s degree in counseling, I’m trained to treat a wide variety of common mental health issues like anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, grief, and relationship issues. However, my passion is helping stressed out men to overcome their barriers, bad-habits, and insecurities to experience healing and breakthrough. I do so using my training in counseling, my experience in ministry, and my expertise as a trained addiction coach. My clinical approach is to help a person/family understand their difficulties, define goals, and develop realistic action plans to resolve the challenge (solution focused). I support the person with what they want, they need, and what they are willing to change. I combine many approaches, with the goal of reducing the severity and frequency of difficulties, as well as improve the person’s overall functioning. The reality is the world is difficult, unfair, and at times overwhelming to the human mind. My hope is that I can help you to improve coping skills, develop healthy thought patterns, eliminate harmful behaviors, heal from any traumatic experiences, and to gain healthy relationships.
