As a high-achieving man, anxiety and stress comes with the territory. And you wouldn’t be where you are today in life unless you’ve handled it pretty well until now. Anxiety and stress can be so difficult to manage and seem to come out of nowhere. When we dig in, we will work to learn the core of the distress that you are experiencing. As we learn your life story, we may find that some of the distress is rooted in early childhood trauma and attachment wounding. We'll embrace all parts that make you "you" and learn about the challenging messages you may have grown up with that manifested into the distress you feel today. Anxiety and stress can be a messenger, an alarm telling you that it is time to heal experiences from earlier in life. In our work together, we'll use EMDR, Emotion Focused Therapy and Expressive Arts to help you heal!

I work with anxiety and stress by helping individuals learn and develop tools to re-regulate their nervous system. When we have a coherent and fluid nervous system, we can do difficult things without feeling paralyzed by overwhelming fear.
