Clients will get to the root of their anxiety and stress and will find thinking patterns that contribute to that. They will learn to identify thoughts, behaviors, and the history behind them that leads to their anxiety. Clients will then be able to replace those thoughts and behaviors with new ones that help them to relax and be calm. They will be able to deal with past trauma and find healing that will enable them to adopt new thinking patterns and behaviors.

Working with clients who are experiencing anxiety and stress is a passion and specialty of mine. I am unique in my approach because I come from both a psychological background, but also from a background of many years studying and teaching yoga and meditation, which is the science of developing personal peace. I help clients to develop ways to decrease stress and anxiety without the use of medication by utilizing breathing techniques and mindfulness practices. I also use a cognitive behavioral approach that helps to recognize negative irrational thoughts while replacing these thoughts with more positive and realistic thoughts. I offer individual therapy and regular group therapy.
