In family therapy I use drumming to help parents, kids and teens to create positive connections. It helps them to learn to listen, connect and look at the possibilities that are open to them as a family. It's playful and fun, yet meaningful in that they are connecting and coming up with new ideas, and possibilities for positive change. With this method, kids feel connected with their family and together they have an opportunity to create, play, have fun and at the same time, grow in family bonding.
