The culture in Santa Barbara consists of performing arts and many tourist attractions. The performing arts in the city include the Arlington Theatre, which is the largest indoor performance venue in the area. The Lobero Theatre is one of the oldest venues and is one of the favorites for smaller performances. Family Services and Assistance Programs
Since the late 1800s, families in Santa Barbara have been able to turn to the Family Service Agency (FSA) when in times of need. FSA helps low-income families obtain food, shelter, clothing, and a host of other necessities. As a partner with Big Brothers, Big Sisters, FSA pairs at-risk youth with adult mentors who help the children stay on a positive path. Tens of thousands of county residents receive services from FSA each year, making it one of the primary family support organizations in the county.
