I am a Christian faith-based therapist with my office at my church. Everything we go through is a spiritual challenge. Our ability to handle life is based on our connection with God. When we are tight, (in vertical alignment), we are able to handle our challenges and follow as He requires. When we not as tight, we fight, control, argue, decieve ourselves and don't allow God to lead us as He needs. Surrender is vital to Christian life and therapy.

Our deepest wounds are often those that are at the hands of another person. Human brokenness is the root of our need for redemption. This holds true in therapy and growth work as well. When we encounter our deep wounds, we encounter our need for our Big God. Here, we are able to reconcile the broken our hurt parts of our ourselves. Dr. Parke is a Christian psychologist who works with teens and college students; she considers her work as a psychologist a calling from God. I specialize in counseling for Christian married couples, specifically those of the LDS faith. All healing ultimately comes from God.and God wants the best for us - healing, love, joy and peace.

I am passionate about helping people discover self-acceptance and internalize God’s grace. I specialize in helping people who struggle with never feeling quite “enough" and are bombarded with an inner critical voice of shame. Self-compassion, self-acceptance and joy are available. In addition to a Ph.D. in Conflict Analysis & Resolution, I hold a Masters of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary. I have served as a pastor for 10 years. Later, I went on to develop the "Reconciliation Model of Peacemaking" for my doctoral dissertation. Each stage of the model, which correlates to modern peacemaking practice, finds its roots in Biblical theology. I integrate best practices and a Biblical perspective to help couples reduce conflict, rebuild their emotional bond, and experience peace.
