I am a successful entrepreneur who has started and owned several businesses, starting in 6th grade. I have always been self employed and have navigated multiple re-inventions of finding ways to use my gifts and talents. I bring my own background of intimate engagement with this process, along with use of the Meyers-Briggs to help you determine your career path. My goal is to support you in defining what matters most to you and helping you achieve the direction your heart is urging you to go.

I aim to help patients talk honestly, to find the source of their suffering and glimmers of joy. Career Counseling is about change. In my practice, I do not use assessments or aptitude tests, as I believe the client is the best source of information. Together we will review your education, interests, work history and the reasons to make a change at this time in your life. Additionally, we will evaluate your level of risk taking, relationships and approaches to pursue a new career path. My style is comprehensive and tailored to you to help your reach your career goals.

I help clients with addictive behaviours or substance use that is interfering with their ability to achieve a fulfilling career. Through collaborative conversations, clients gain a sense of purpose and direction, overcoming barriers to making meaningful progress in their professional life. Gaining a sense of control over one's life allows for increased confidence and self-esteem. I help clients build the motivation necessary to take steps toward a future filled with passion, thriving, and mental resilliance.

I support individual clients experiencing burnout, compassion fatigue, and mental and emotional exhaustion. I often work with Highly Sensitive People, or empaths, who are more susceptible to these experiences. I support those in helping professions like teachers, therapists, parents, medical professionals, and difficult work environments create their boundaries in their workspace for personal well-being.

While most career counselors love to give you capacity based profiles of what your talents and interests are for your best bet career choices, Grey Matters international believes that most people make predictably irrational decisions and then after making them learn way to make them fit into their identities using various types of rationalizations and strategies.
