I am registered psychologist who has over 15 years of clinical experience helping individuals with a variety of mental health issues. I specialize in CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) for anxiety, depression, stress, and anger. CBT is considered a gold-standard treatment for many mental health issues, including anxiety/stress and depression, and is a collaborative skills-based approach to therapy that is designed to provide individuals with the tools they need to manage their mental health concerns. I am Dr. Aaron Lautzenhiser, a registered psychologist with training in assessment and therapy. I conduct psychoeducational and neuropsychological assessments with children and adults for a wide range of challenges: learning disabilities, ADD/ADHD, memory problems, head injuries, FASD, and many others. In addition to assessment, I provide Cogmed training for attention and short-term memory difficulties. Cogmed can help children and adults to improve their focus, concentration, and working memory. I also do adult psychotherapy, helping people with life stresses and transitions, personal growth, depression, and many other life challenges.
