While I am a Christian, I wouldn't say I offer specific "Christian Counseling" - I feel this may be best to do with one's pastor. However, I know and understand when a counselor incorporates faith into counseling... outcomes are better! This is true for medical providers as well, a patient with faith improves outcomes. I am happy to incorporate faith and Christian views into counseling sessions and have done this with past clients!

Is a Christian Counseling perspective important to you in therapy? As an experienced Christian Counselor and ordained pastor, over the last 15 years I’ve been blessed to help hundreds of men find hope and healing using both psychological and Biblical principles. I believe that Christ is the ultimate source of hope and healing in this life. But I also believe that he’s given us the gift of rational minds, able to discern scientific and psychological truths built into the fabric of His amazing creation. My approach is grounded firmly in Scripture, but I don’t use Scripture as a weapon. You don’t need more guilt, but rather, a reminder of God’s promises and a compassionate guide to support you.

Having obtained her masters degree from a seminary, Khara understands the value to including one's religion, spiritual beliefs and faith practices in counseling. Khara provides the utmost respect for her clients who are from diverse faiths and backgrounds. Khara understands the value in diversity. He has an interest in Sprituality, Health and Mental Health and has lectured to physicians and mental health professionals on this topic.. Dr. Keller frequently collaborates with clergy of all religions and encourages patients to explore the spiritual dimensions of their lives. When appropriate, Dr. Keller is open to ivestigating with patients how prayer, meditation, and other contemplative practices may supplement their treatment.
