Psychotherapy is a general term used to describe all forms of mental health ‘talk’ therapy. In my role as a Provisional Psychologist, I strive to meet you where you are at. We will work on your goals, at your speed. At times I will push you to consider different perspectives, I will suggest new techniques and strategies to try, and I will ask for your feedback. All of this is done with the purist of motives. I want you to succeed. I want you to get to a place where you no longer need me. But, the honest truth is that my job is easy. It is you who has to do the hard work. As much as I would love to take some of the burden, I cannot. It is only you who can implement new techniques.

My approach is to work collaboratively with clients using a holistic model of therapy which entails a blending of Eastern and Western modalities. For example, training in meditation, yoga, Tai Chi, proper exercise, a nutritious, science-based diet and maintaining proper sleep hygiene.
