You draw and target clients from a single state / province.   Your listing will appear all over your state / province targeted to people within your state.  This means your listing may show up on thousands of uniquely cached Google pages throughout your state or province. You are not simply in some giant “master list” of onine counselors like you are with other online services. Instead, you are marketed specifically and individually to every city in your state.
2. Limited Availability.  Every state has a strict limit on how many online counselors we will accept, reducing competition so that you can draw the most clients.  And only when you have ample clients and are unable to accept new ones, do we consider opening new slots for other therapists. (For example, the entire state of California has a current limit of only 75 online counselors, while the state of Delaware has a limit of 10 therapists only).  So you can see that limited availability is extreme….we mean it when we say space is limited.  Get your spot while you can.  First come, first served.
3. It’s your practice, and you are in charge.   You control your client connections.  You pay us only a listing fee.  You have full control over your client connections.  Unlike places like 7cups or BetterHelp where they control communication, pricing, and payouts, you are the one who controls.  Theravive only facilitates your marketing, and you get to control your practice…and this is exactly as it should be.
4. Regulatory Compliance    Because we only market you to a single state or province, this means your referrals are targeted and you can provide clinical counseling within your appropriate region. It is a violation of many licensure boards to provide licensed counseling to clients outside of your state. This is a huge problem found on other sites who have no problem marketing a therapist in New York to a client in Alberta (for example). We do things the right way.

How It Works

When you sign up for a Reserve Listing, you will choose a state or province you would like to market yourself in. Every reserve listing you purchase, opens up another available state. You can change your states any time, provided there is an open slot in that state. Every state has a limit on how many online therapists can list there, so as long as there is an open spot in a state, you are free to move around as you please. Once you select your state, you then will need to fill out your profile, and we take your profile and market it to cities throughout your state. When people search for a local therapist in their local city, in addition to any local therapists they may see, they may also see your listing. For example, a local therapist has a listing in Los Angeles. That therapist will always show up on our Los Angeles page. But they will never show up on our San Francisco page, because they are listed in Los Angeles. However, a reserve therapist who selects "California" as their state can show up on both of those pages, and not just those, but potentially in every single city in California.

To give you a sample of how powerful your marketing can be, consider a medium size state like Washington State.  A reserve therapist here would have presence on every municipality on our site in the state, 504 unique localities. Add in our powerful marketing tools, and the number of unique listings for that therapist just in the state of Washington is 7560.  That means you would show up on thousands of cached pages in search engines. This product means you literally show up all over the place for your region of practice.  It is radically different than simply being in a gigantic central "master list" of therapists.  Instead, you are targeted specifically to all the localities of your state/province of practice.
